İzmir Mimar Kemalettin Moda Merkezi Derneği (MKMMD), kuruluşunun 21. yılı nedeniyle Boyoz Şenliği düzenledi. Geçtiğimiz mart ayında görevi devralan 8. dönem yönetim kurulu tarafından organize edilen etkinlik kapsamında, vatandaşlara ve davetlilere İzmir’in simge lezzetlerinden boyozlar ücretsiz olarak ikram edildi. Dernek Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Erdoğan Kulu ve ekip arkadaşlarının öncülüğünde Mimar Kemalettin Moda Merkezi’nin Çankaya’daki meydanında düzenlenen şenlikte, 5 bin adet sıcak boyoz buz gibi limonatalar eşliğinde dağıtıldı.

Tunaboylu Grup, Valeria Wedding Dress, Torres Cerimonia, İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi, Konak Belediyesi, İZFAŞ, İzmir Ticaret Odası, İzdoğa ve Ege Hazır Giyim ve Konfeksiyon İhracatçıları Birliği başta olmak üzere onlarca markanın sponsorluğunda hayata geçirilen organizasyon, yoğun ilgi gördü. İBB Başkanı Tunç Soyer ve Konak Belediye Başkanı Abdül Batur’un da yer aldığı şenlikte konuşan MKMMD Başkanı Erdoğan Kulu, “Bu etkinliğimizi yapmamızda katkıda bulunan esnafımıza ve sponsorlarımıza çok teşekkür ediyorum. 20 kişilik ekibimizle derneğin yönetiminde işin başına geçtik. Zorlu bir görev olduğunun bilinciyle moda merkezine çok güzel bir vizyon kazandırmak için çalışıyoruz. Bu yaz dönemi bitmeden bu alanda 2 gün sürecek bir defile yapacağız” dedi.

Mimar Kemalettin Moda Merkezi’nin İzmir’in çok değerli esnaflarını içinde barındıran bir nokta olduğunu belirten Konak Belediye Başkanı Batur ise “Burası, bırakın Türkiye’yi dünyada bir moda merkezi haline geldi. Geçmişten günümüze katkı koyan herkese teşekkür ediyor, yeni yönetime de görevlerinde başarılar diliyorum” şeklinde konuştu. Mimar Kemalettin’in, dünya markası olmaya aday ve çok daha fazlasını başarmaya aday bir merkez olduğunu ifade eden İBB Başkanı Soyer de “Biz İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi olarak, Konak Belediye Başkanı kardeşimle beraber sonuna kadar yanınızda duracağız, sonuna kadar sahip çıkacağız. Bunu göreceksiniz. Bunu kalben söylüyorum. Çünkü Mimar Kemalettin Moda Merkezi, İzmir’i dünyayla buluşturacak markalardan biri oldu. Bu bölgenin iyileştirilmesiyle ilgili daha yapacağımız çok iş var. Her şeyi yapmaya hazırız” diyerek destek mesajı verdi. Konuşmaların ardından belediye başkanlarına, sponsorlara ve MKMM üyelerine teşekkür plaketleri verildi.

İZFAŞ Genel Müdürü Canan Karaosman Alıcı, plaketini alırken, İzmir’e ve camiaya faydalı olacaklarına inandıkları tüm güzel etkinlikler için Dernek yönetimine tam destek sözü verdi.

İZFAŞ’ın da desteğini alarak yakın zamanda düzenlemeyi planladıkları moda haftası etkinliğiyle dünyanın gözünü Mimar Kemalettin’e çekmeye hazırlanan MKMMD yönetimini tebrik eder, canı yürekten başarılar dileriz.

Architect Kemalettin Fashion Center Celebrated its 21st Anniversary with Boyoz Festival

İzmir Architect Kemalettin Fashion Center Association (MKMMD) organized a Boyoz Festival on the occasion of its 21st anniversary. Within the scope of the event organized by the 8th term board of directors, which took over the task last March, one of the iconic flavors of İzmir, boyozes were offered free of charge to the citizens and guests. In the festival held in the square of the Mimar Kemalettin Fashion Center in Çankaya, under the leadership of President of the Board of Directors Erdoğan Kulu and his teammates, 5 thousand hot boyoz were distributed with ice-cold lemonades.

The organization, which was realized with the sponsorship of dozens of brands, especially Tunaboylu Group, Valeria Wedding Dress, Torres Cerimonia, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, Konak Municipality, İZFAŞ, İzmir Chamber of Commerce, İzdoğa and Aegean Ready-made Clothing and Apparel Exporters’ Association, attracted great attention. Speaking at the festival, which was attended by İBB President Tunç Soyer and Konak Mayor Abdül Batur, MKMMD President Erdoğan Kulu said, “I would like to thank our tradesmen and sponsors who contributed to our organization. We took over the management of the association with our team of 20 people. Knowing that it is a challenging task, we are working to bring a beautiful vision to the fashion center. Before the end of this summer term, we will organize a two-day fashion show in this area.”

Konak Mayor Batur, who stated that the Architect Kemalettin Fashion Center is a place that hosts the most valuable tradesmen of Izmir, said, “This place has become a fashion center in the world, let alone Turkey. I would like to thank everyone who contributed from the past to the present and wish the new management success in their duties. Stating that Architect Kemalettin is a center that is a candidate to become a world brand and to achieve much more, İBB President Soyer said, “We, as İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, will stand by you until the end, together with my brother Konak Mayor, and we will protect you until the end. You will see this. I say this from the heart. Because Architect Kemalettin Fashion Center has become one of the brands that will bring İzmir together with the world. We still have a lot of work to do to improve this area. We are ready to do everything” and gave a message of support. After the speeches, thank you plaques were given to mayors, sponsors and MKMM members.

While receiving her plaque, İZFAŞ General Manager Canan Karaosman Ali promised her full support to the management of the Association for all the beautiful events that they believe will be beneficial to İzmir and the community.
