Zambak ve portakal çiçeği desenleriyle süslü fildişi renginde saten gelinliğin tasarımcısı ise Norman Hartnell. Tasarımında Norman; Botticelli’nin ünlü tablosu olan Primovera’dan ilham aldığını açıklamıştır.

Jacqueline Kennedy (1953)

Another revolutionary wedding dress of the fashion industry is definitely Grace Kelly’s wedding dress. It was a flawless design of MGM Studios’ 2 Oscar-winning costume designer Helen Rose and that comes out of her hand. High collar, long sleeves, waist tucks, elegant tail and buttons on the front… How much more detail can we give … For this wedding dress 400 meters of fabric and 125-year-old point de rose lace with a pastel pink color were used and the wedding dress was showcased. Designed by Elizabeth and David Emanuel in 1981, this bridal dress offers a flamboyant look, just like Diana. This design, which attracts attention with its thin waist detail and fluffy skirt, is decorated with antique lace, handmade sequins and 10,000 pearl embroidery just like Queen Elizabeth’s wedding dress. This wedding dress, which is completely away from the show, was a question of how it was welcomed by the queen. Let’s come to the most important detail of the veil … 5 meters long, embroidered with the symbols of the nation community, the veil filled eyes. But, unfortunately, the pots formed in her wedding dress, the appearance of her shoes and the short veil were far from the “perfect” image. And the whole fashion world has showered with criticism. But that didn’t stop her from becoming iconic. So what they said is that there’s no such thing as bad advertising…

Footnote: Marilyn Monroe (1954)

When we say an iconic woman, she’s the first person we’ve all thought of! But, unfortunately, a love life full of tragedy … Monroe always attracted attention, her second marriage was with the baseball legend Joe DiMaggio and she wore a white fur collar wearing a dark brown pencil dress and fell into the middle of the magazine and the fashion world like a bombshell. What can we say other than bowing respectfully to her?

Grace Kelly (1956)

Dipnot:
